"Informed Pessimism Graph β \"make PDFs with AI\" valley image"
Single image ad built on the informed-pessimism curve (hopeful start β trough of disillusionment β real payoff). Three beats, left to right.
Left: happy guy β "I can make money by making PDFs with AI!"
Bottom (valley): the same guy sad, buried under ideas, tech, ad concepts, ad setup, confusion, frustration, money spent.
Right: happy guy β actually making money selling PDFs (resale-ready ones he didn't have to build).
Marker variations at the valley:
1. "You are here" X or arrow at the bottom β confrontational, personal.
2. "Are you here?" X or arrow at the bottom β question version, softer click.
3. "You are here β" pointing at the pile of tools/course logos (Canva, ad managers, half-built funnels) instead of at the person.
4. "Month 6" stamp at the valley vs "Day 1" on the right β the time inversion is the whole argument.
5. Exit-ramp version: the right side gets a road sign β "24-Hour Sales Method β next exit" β the method becomes the escape route out of the valley.
Why it works: the curve is a picture of the reader's own last 6 months; the "you are here" X forces self-location (pattern interrupt + open loop: what's on the right side and how do I get there). Compliant as long as the right side shows SELLING activity, not income numbers β no results implied, "results may vary" on any implied-outcome creative. Ties to The Goalpost Shuffle (problem) and The 24-Hour Sales Method (solution) naming.
V2 β scientific version, filed as its own card: hook-informed-pessimism-graph-scientific.md (images/hook-informed-pessimism-graph-scientific.png) β textbook "Emotional Cycle of Change" diagram style with the 5 numbered stages and the "Quit & repeat stages 1β3 / Push through to selling" fork.
Points at: a new-batch advertorial for the make-a-PDF crowd (to be written), or direct to get.loot47.com once the advertorial exists. Do not pair with the old six filler advertorials.
